The ASWTT has been developed to fullfill the need expressed by several

The Database System is flexible and allows the user to easily integrate sensible data needed for an
accurate simulation, also using real info and survey data.
The DB Manager oversees a wide range of simulation parameters:

The ASWTT acoustic part is based on the SonSim Sonar Simulator, able to re-create in realtime highly
realistic underwater acoustics even in complex conditions, taking into consideration all the emitters,
receivers, background noises and the sensor limitations.
